not an /actual/ lawn mower, like with the engine and stuff. Im talking about those old metal hand-driven ones with the rotating blades that cut as you push em. I hate /those/.
in the production The Witches of Eastwick at EC (the annual musical), at the start of the show are a few of those old style mowers.
Im a techie, so Im a backstage crew for the show. When the mowers come across the stage we, (the four techies) have to collect them and take them backstage then get on with the rest of the play.
Theyre fairly old... rusty, covered in old grass xD ick. heavy as shit to carry

i just so happened, stupidly as its against OH&S regulations, i didnt wear covered shoes. i wore thongs.
STUPID, because... well lets put it this way
I picked it up
and all of a sudden
it felt lighter
and then
i heard a massive thud
and i looked down
and the body of the mower was on my foot
and the handle in my hands 8D

awesome huh
blood everywhere XD but we got it cleaned up pretty fast (thanks to georgie XD)
